Philip K.W. Smith focuses his practice on the regulation of investment companies and investment advisers. Philip counsels clients on the formation, registration and ongoing regulation of investment companies, including active and passive exchange-traded funds. He also provides ongoing advice regarding various regulatory compliance and securities law issues.
During law school, Philip was a comments editor for the University of Baltimore Law Review. Prior to law school, he worked at the Aspen Institute, an international policy studies organization, before joining Morgan Lewis as a legal analyst in the investment management practice group.
