Shokoh H. Yaghoubi’s practice encompasses a wide range of technology and commercial transactions focusing on licensing and commercialization of intellectual property (IP) rights. She represents clients in drafting and negotiating agreements including technology and content licenses, SaaS agreements and software licenses, agreements for the transfer of IP rights, joint development and joint venture agreements, and distribution and sales agreements. She also advises on supply, service and outsourcing agreements, manufacturing and foundry relationships, and cross-border licensing and strategic alliances.
Shokoh regularly counsels clients on IP and due diligence issues and strategy involved in mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, and financings.
As part of her practice, Shokoh drafts website privacy policies and terms of use and advises clients on related internet privacy law issues.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Shokoh was a consulting attorney in the legal licensing and technology group of a Fortune 100 technology company. She is fluent in English and Farsi.
