William Scoville

Associate

William Scoville represents clients primarily in trademark litigation and prelitigation disputes, as well as trademark prosecution. He also advises on brand protection and broader intellectual property strategy, including clearance, enforcement, and portfolio management. While he counsels clients across a range of industries, Will works in the drinkware and apparel industries, with experience addressing issues such as global brand protection, online marketplace enforcement, and strategic portfolio development. He helps companies develop, safeguard, and enforce their brands in competitive markets.

Will earned his J.D., cum laude, from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where he also earned a Master of Sports Law and Business (MSLB) and received a certificate in law, science, and technology. He served as business editor of the Arizona State Law Journal and provided pro bono counseling to entrepreneurs on intellectual property matters through the Innovation Advancement Clinic. As an undergraduate, Will earned his B.A., magna cum laude, in government and history from Georgetown University, focusing on international relations and American history.
