Benjamin W. Stango
Ben Stango advises clients across the full spectrum of debt finance transactions. As part of the firm’s borrower finance team, he advises public and private companies, private equity sponsors, venture capital firms, nonprofits, and high-net worth individuals on structuring and executing financings aligned with strategic business objectives. Ben’s experience includes syndicated and bilateral credit facilities, leveraged and acquisition financings, investment grade and high-yield note offerings, receivables financings, commercial paper programs and complex bespoke financing situations. He regularly advises on transactions ranging from under $1 million to more than $14 billion across industries including healthcare, data centers and AI, aerospace and defense, technology, retail, and life sciences.
Ben’s MBA from the Wharton School informs a practical, commercially focused approach. He is actively involved in firm leadership and strategic initiatives, including the Philadelphia Professional Recruiting Committee, healthcare industry team, aerospace and defense industry team, and the firm’s Data Center Initiative. Ben remains active in the Greater Philadelphia civic and legal communities. He serves on the board of the Support Center for Child Advocates, where he volunteers as a child advocate pro bono lawyer; on the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia Bar Association; and the Finance Committee of Project HOME. He also advises a range of civic and political organizations in the region.
Ben has been a Chambers and Partners–ranked finance associate in Greater Philadelphia for the past three years and was one of only four lawyers shortlisted as a national Rising Star by IFLR in 2025.
