Shabeena Sharak
Shabeena Sharak advises public companies on corporate governance matters and compliance with US federal securities laws, including periodic reporting obligations under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. She regularly counsels clients in connection with annual and quarterly reports, proxy statements, and other SEC filings. Shabeena also represents public and private companies in a variety of corporate transactional matters, including registered securities offerings, at-the-market offerings, follow-on offerings, and other capital market transactions.
In addition, Shabeena works with China-based and other foreign-based companies conducting business in the United States in connection with mergers and acquisitions and initial public offerings, including conducting legal due diligence and assisting with transaction-related disclosure matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Shabeena was an extern at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and a volunteer for the non-profit organization Lawyers for Civil Rights.
