Morgan Lewis to Strengthen European M&A Capabilities with Philip Cheveley in London

LONDON, 12 May 2026: Morgan Lewis continues to accelerate the growth of its global M&A platform with the upcoming arrival of Philip Cheveley, who will join later this month in the firm’s corporate practice in London and will serve as the firm’s European M&A practice lead. Phil’s appointment will represent a significant milestone in the firm’s strategy to strengthen its market-leading M&A capabilities in London, across Europe, and globally.

Joining from Covington & Burling on May 26, Phil is a highly regarded and seasoned M&A lawyer who will bring deep experience advising public and private companies on complex, high-value domestic and cross-border transactions, particularly in highly regulated industries. His addition will further expand the firm’s ability to deliver sophisticated, integrated advice to clients operating in an increasingly dynamic global deal environment.
