Clara Kollm

Clara Kollm focuses her practice on complex commercial and class action litigation and high-stakes governmental and internal investigations. Clara also represents companies in bid protest litigation and civil investigations in response to inquiries from US Congress, state attorneys general, and the US Department of Justice. Clara regularly handles complex software licensing and implementation disputes, including claims against the US government. In one such dispute, she obtained a unanimous defense verdict for a Fortune 25 company after a two-week jury trial.

She regularly litigates a wide variety of issues related to fraud, business torts, breaches of contract, and the Contracts Disputes Act, with experience in the False Claims Act, Americans with Disabilities Act and the Copyright Act.

Clara has an active pro bono practice and is a recipient of the 2023 Gilbert Award for Pro Bono Excellence for her work representing asylum seekers.

Clara holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where she served as a senior editor on the Georgetown International Environmental Law Review. Prior to attending law school, she worked in New Delhi, India with a waste management nonprofit. Previously, Clara served as a judicial intern for Judge Paul L. Friedman of the US District Court for the District of Columbia.
