Martin Hirschprung

Martin Hirschprung’s practice involves counseling hedge funds, investment advisers/broker dealers, financial institutions, banks, mutual funds, and other market participants in negotiating their derivatives, futures, Fixed Income Clearing Corporation (FICC) repurchase, prime brokerage, custodial, and commodities transactions. He is also a member of the firm’s privacy and cybersecurity practice, with a particular focus on financial services companies and their compliance with Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) privacy requirements, Regulations P and S-P, and related federal and state regulations.

    Martin assists clients with international swaps and derivatives association master agreements (ISDAs), master repurchase agreements (MRAs), FICC’s Sponsored Repurchase Program documentation, master securities loan agreements (MSLAs), master securities forward transaction agreements (MSFTAs) and related clearing, custody, options, and futures account agreements.

    As a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US), he works with companies on designing and building aspects of their privacy programs, including internal policies, procedures, and guidelines that incorporate best practices and legal requirements.

    Before joining Morgan Lewis, Martin served as associate counsel at JPMorgan Chase through the Chase Honors Program. At Chase, Martin worked with the regulatory, operations, and controls group to identify and correct the root causes of customer complaints. He also supported privacy and cybersecurity initiatives.
