Amir Ali represents clients on antitrust matters, including antitrust litigation, mergers and acquisitions, and government investigations. Amir represents clients before the US Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Trade Commission, and in federal court. He participates in different stages of civil antitrust litigation, including fact and expert discovery and dispositive motion practice. For transactions in the life sciences, technology, financial services, and telecommunications industries, Amir analyzes the applicability of the Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Act and international competition laws, prepares HSR notifications, and conducts substantive antitrust risk assessments.

Amir graduated from Duke University School of Law in 2024. While in law school, Amir served as an executive editor for Law and Contemporary Problems. He also served as a research assistant to the Duke University Center for Firearms Law.
