Brooke E. McGlinn
With a practice focus on the energy industry, Brooke E. McGlinn represents electric power, natural gas, and water utilities in court and regulatory proceedings. She counsels developers and investors on financial transactions involving renewable energy, and advises and represents clients in matters involving US state and federal environmental laws. Brooke also counsels companies that are developing and deploying new energy resources, including renewable energy, battery storage, offshore wind, and microgrids, as part of their decarbonization strategies and net-zero goals.
Brooke previously was an associate with a Delaware firm, practicing corporate and commercial litigation, with an emphasis on public utility disputes before the Delaware Public Service Commission (DPSC). While an associate at that firm, Brooke served as counsel to the DPSC, overseeing a variety of energy-related matters, including the commission’s review of a long-term bid proposal for the procurement of offshore wind power.
