Bruce C. Silvers is a leader of the firm's global aviation practice and works extensively in aviation finance and leasing. He represents clients in aircraft and engine sales and purchases, operating and leveraged leases, parts consignments, restructurings, and repossessions. Bruce has transacted with air carriers in the United States and throughout the world including in Aruba, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Cyprus, England, Ethiopia, France, Hong Kong, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Nigeria, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, and Vietnam.

Before joining Morgan Lewis, Bruce was a partner at another international law firm.

Represented an aircraft owner/lessor in the securitization of a portfolio of 21 used aircraft leased to 13 lessees in 11 countries
Represented an investor in a sale-and-leaseback transaction with a major US carrier for 13 Airbus A-320 aircraft
Represented an investor in the acquisition and securitization of a portfolio of used aircraft (Global Transport Finance 2016 Aircraft Finance ABS Deal of the Year – North America)
Represented certificateholder groups in restructuring of and foreclosure of leveraged leases in the American Airlines Chapter 11 restructuring
Represented $1.6 billion of ETC, PTC and private lease debt in the Delta Air Lines Chapter 11 restructuring
Represented the Class A EETC certificate holders in restructuring more than $1 billion of lease obligations in the Chapter 11 bankruptcy of air cargo carrier Atlas Air Inc.
