Kimberly M. Reisler
Kim Reisler works closely with legal and business teams to support their financing needs, bringing to her practice more than 30 years of utility company experience. She manages debt and equity transactions in both public and private capital and bank markets. Kim works with issuers and regulators, both Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and local commissions, ensuring appropriate authority for a breadth of transactions. Her experience with electric, gas, and water utilities grounds her advice on disclosure and corporate issues. Kim’s representations of both issuers and underwriters add to her insight.
Kim has a significant background with utility mortgages, in both the issuance of bonds and the ongoing management of activity under, and modernization of, mortgages. In addition to her work on secured and unsecured debt issuances in both registered offerings and private placements, Kim counsels clients in equity transactions and arrangements such as at-the-market programs, equity forwards, and other issuances of both common and preferred equity. Her experience includes more complex financing structures such as pollution control and other tax-exempt bonds and nuclear fuel–secured notes.
