Morgan Lewis Partner to Testify Before House Committee Regarding Miner Act

WASHINGTON, D.C., July 12, 2010: Jonathan Snare, a partner in Morgan Lewis’s Labor and Employment Practice and former Acting Assistant Secretary of Labor for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), will testify tomorrow before the full House Committee on Education and Labor on behalf of the Coalition for Workplace Safety.

He will provide testimony on Title VII of H.R. 5663, Miner Safety and Health Act of 2010, which provides for the first significant amendments to the Occupational Safety and Health Act in the 40 years since its enactment.

Mr. Snare will be available for comment today or after the hearing, which will take place at:
