27. März 2026MIAMI, March 27, 2026: Morgan Lewis continues the strategic growth of its global labor and employment practice with the arrival of Benjamin Davis as a partner resident in the firm’s Miami office. Ben represents employers in high-stakes employment and commercial disputes in state and federal courts and before arbitral tribunals. He joins from Baker McKenzie.
Ben’s experience spans single plaintiff to complex employment litigation matters, including claims brought under the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Florida Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act. He also advises on restrictive covenant disputes, internal and regulatory investigations, compliance issues, and risk mitigation strategies.
“Employers are navigating increasingly complex workplace challenges—ranging from litigation and investigations to restrictive covenant enforcement—and they require counsel who combine courtroom strength with practical business judgment,” said Firm Chair Jami McKeon. “Ben’s experience advising clients in sophisticated disputes strengthens our ability to support employers in Miami and across our global platform.”
Ben’s representative matters include securing summary judgment victories and a complete defense verdict following a jury trial in a nationwide discrimination and wage and hour action; representing employers in arbitration proceedings involving alleged wage and hour and discrimination claims; and advising companies in connection with regulatory investigations.
“Ben enhances our ability to meet growing client demand in Florida and throughout the United States for sophisticated employment litigation and counseling,” said David McManus, Chair-Elect and leader of Morgan Lewis’s global labor and employment practice. “His experience handling complex single-plaintiff matters, restrictive covenant disputes, and high-exposure litigation aligns closely with the needs of our employer clients. We are pleased to welcome him to our collaborative global team.”
In addition, Ben brings experience handling business torts, corporate fraud and misconduct matters, RICO claims, asset recovery disputes, and insolvency-related litigation. He also has significant experience in cross-border disputes and international arbitration proceedings.
Ben’s arrival follows recent global additions to the firm’s labor and employment practice including partner Katherine (Kat) Gibson in London and the return of partners Donald (Donny) E. English, Jr. in Washington, DC and Jason Mills in Los Angeles.
