and the Select Committee
In this session, we will share our thoughts on the US midterm election outcome and its impact on US-China policies.
We will introduce the 118th US Congress,
its leadership, key individuals involved in China-related policy, the Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party (Select Committee), and an overview of areas most likely to be on said Select Committee’s priority list.
Topics will include:

  • Which industries could be at the forefront of
    US-China competition in 2023?
  • What are China-related policies that congressional oversight will likely include?
  • How can global businesses prepare and manage potential risks noted by the Select Committee?
