Benjamin Kabe represents clients in complex civil litigation. He has experience in privacy and cybersecurity, government investigations, energy infrastructure disputes, and class action defense. Ben handles all phases of litigation, from pretrial strategy through appeal. As a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US & CIPP/E), Ben advises clients on privacy and cybersecurity issues related to compliance, product development, and corporate transactions. Ben previously served as a law clerk for Judge Sharon Johnson Coleman of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Ben maintains an active pro bono practice, representing asylum seekers in immigration court and prisoners asserting civil rights claims. He also serves on the Chicago Office Pro Bono Committee. While in law school, Ben was an editor of the Northwestern Journal of Law and Social Policy and was awarded Northwestern’s Senior Research Honors for his article on judicial review.
