Timothy L. Bransford

Tim has successfully obtained licenses to operate ground station facilities in the United States, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and in excess of a dozen African nations. He regularly meets with the FCC’s Office of Engineering and Technology (OET) and Wireless Bureau to seek approval for clients to test and operate cutting edge terrestrial wireless network infrastructure using advanced modulation schemes and applications. He additionally represents clients seeking OET approval to market and distribute next generation wireless devices in the US market. Tim advises domestic and international clients on state and federal data security obligations, and also electronic surveillance and wiretap regulations.

Previously, Tim served as a law clerk in the FCC’s Satellite Division. Before attending law school, he held management positions at several prominent international carriers based in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area.
