Partner Sergio F. Oehninger and of counsel Lauren Silvestri Burke participated in the webinar, Data Privacy Compliance, hosted by Financial Poise.
The program addressed companies’ vulnerability to cyber attacks amid a growing dependency on cyber structures and operations. It examined the means for companies to reach data goals ethically, efficiently, and legally, and the evolving regulatory approaches of the European Union and US federal and state governments.
The program also described model comprehensive privacy and cybersecurity policies and data breach response and related litigation, including class action litigation issues and fiduciary duty violations.
