The National Law Journal spoke with partner Michael Huneke about his move to Morgan Lewis. Mike discussed his reasons for choosing Morgan Lewis to continue his international trade, sanctions, and anti-money laundering practice, and how these legal areas dovetail with national security issues.
“People here [at Morgan Lewis] have been excited about the opportunity to really continue to grow their trade practice, but not only just trade, but really trade with a national security focus,” Mike said.
“Every day in the news there’s a new national security issue that pops up, and more and more things are being gathered under the national security tent. So, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to look at any trade issue in a silo,” he added.
