AmLaw Litigation Daily gave “shout-out” recognition to partners James Nelson, Randall Levine, Keri Engelman, and Michael Puma for securing an appellate ruling limiting the scope of a wage and hour collective action under the Fair Labor Standards Act. The US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit reversed a Vermont trial court’s exercise of personal jurisdiction over out-of-state opt-in plaintiffs in litigation against Bimbo Bakeries, finding the claims of those individuals did not arise from the company’s contacts with Vermont.
