Morgan Lewis litigation-healthcare partner Scott McBride will present at the 2020 Texas Health Law Conference, an annual event provided by the Health Law Section of the State Bar of Texas featuring two days of programs from national and regional health law attorneys who work in the healthcare sector. The event will be offered completely virtual this year.
Scott’s panel, “Undue Foreign Influence Risks: the Grantor/Grantee Perspective,” will cover the risk of undue influence by foreign government-sponsored state actors on the US research enterprise which creates special challenges for federal research granting authorities and recipient institutions. Scott will discuss the unique risks in this space, as well as possible common-sense solutions. The panel will meet from 11:30 am –12:15 pm on October 5.
