Daniel A. Losk
Daniel A. Losk advises sponsors and investment managers in connection with private capital formation transactions, including private equity, energy/climate infrastructure and credit fund formation, fund-of-one, separately managed account, co-investment, joint venture, continuation fund, and other sponsor-driven transactions. He also is accomplished in counseling insurance companies, global pension funds, and other institutional investors in connection with their private fund investments and consortia, joint venture, and platform investment transactions. In addition, Daniel counsels clients in connection with the structuring and implementation of investments in sports-related businesses. His diverse transactional experience has also included advising clients on matters involving mergers and acquisitions, project finance, and general corporate transactions.
Daniel is a co-leader of the firm’s Private Equity and 2026 World Cup strategic initiatives, the Private Credit Working Group of the firm’s investment funds industry initiative, and the Renewables Working Group of the firm’s energy industry initiative.
Daniel has experience working on Latin American transactions and is fluent in Spanish.

- A leading middle market direct lending platform on credit fund formation matters and separately managed accounts, including a recent $1.7 billion fund.
- Lime Rock Management, a leading asset manager pursuing investments in the oil and gas and new energy sectors, on fund formation matters and the structuring and implementation of various co-investment and GP-led restructuring transactions, including a $1.9 billion continuation fund formed to acquire the remaining assets owned by a predecessor fund.

Ltd., China's largest insurance company, as the anchor and leading investor alongside a group of sovereign wealth funds and other investors, in connection with its $940 million investment in a platform managed by Starwood Capital and formed to acquire a portfolio of 280 select-service hotels in the United States.
- Energy Investors Funds, a leading asset manager in the energy infrastructure industry, in its sale to a subsidiary of global alternative asset manager Ares Management, L.P.
- The investment manager for a European global pension fund in connection with its real asset investments in the United States and Latin America, including with respect to its investment or prospective investment in (i) a nearly 400 MW wind farm being developed in Latin America, (ii) the largest privately-owned cell tower operator in the United States, (iii) gas distribution utilities in the Mid-Atlantic region, (iv) a portfolio of wind and solar energy projects in the United States, (v) a company developing various natural gas-fired and renewable energy projects in the United States, and (vi) a cell tower business in Latin America.
- Skanska Infrastructure Development in connection with the sale of its indirect 50% interest in a Chilean entity, which operates, manages and maintains a toll-road in Santiago, Chile under a long-term concession, to Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo).
