Linda Wang focuses her practice on transactional matters, representing clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, securities offerings, and other strategic transactions. Linda advises private companies, public companies, and private equity funds in these transactions—including US and foreign entities—across a wide variety of industries, including media, retail, life sciences, commercial real estate, and technology. Linda also regularly counsels clients on US federal securities laws, ongoing disclosure and reporting obligations under US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) rules, compliance with New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and Nasdaq listing requirements, annual meeting and proxy-related issues, and investor communication.
While at Duke Law School, Linda interned with the US Department of Justice’s Office of Legislative Affairs and the North Carolina General Assembly’s Legislative Analysis Division. She served on the boards of several student organizations and was a staff editor for the Duke Law & Technology Review. Linda also served as a research assistant with the Wilson Center for Science and Justice at Duke Law and was selected by the law school to serve on the Student Conduct Policy Task Force and University Judicial Board. Prior to law school, Linda was a regional affairs specialist in European Affairs with the US Department of Homeland Security, Office of Policy. She interned with the UN Development Programme in Tbilisi, Georgia and the White House. As an undergraduate student, Linda received a David L. Boren National Security Education Program Scholarship for French study and is proficient in French.
Linda maintains an active pro bono practice with a focus on serving small businesses and social enterprises.
Linda is a member of the American Bar Association and International Bar Association.
