Michelle M. Arra represents companies and individuals in civil and criminal investigations in response to inquiries from the US Department of Justice and the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Michelle’s practice also focuses on high-stakes commercial litigation, including class actions, where she represents entities in the financial services, telecommunications, and healthcare industries. Michelle also maintains a vibrant pro bono practice, and she is actively involved in various initiatives within the firm.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Michelle served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Ronald S.W. Lew of the US District Court for the Central District of California, and as a judicial extern to Judge Dolly M. Gee of the US District Court for the Central District of California. During law school, she served on the Scott Moot Court Honors Board, and as executive editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review. Due to her academic achievement, Michelle was admitted to Alpha Sigma Nu, Jesuit Honors Society, and the St. Thomas More Law Honor Society.
