Sivanathan Jheevanesh focuses his practice on commercial and civil litigation, international arbitration and corporate/white-collar crime and investigations. Before joining Morgan Lewis, Jheeva worked with Senior Counsel in practice and the Attorney-General’s Chambers. As Deputy Senior State Counsel/Deputy Public Prosecutor, Jheeva led trials of corporate and securities fraud offences and represented the state and statutory boards in judicial reviews. In practice, Jheeva has advised and acted for high-profile clients including multinationals, listed corporations, and high net-worth individuals in complex and multi-jurisdictional disputes.
Jheeva has appeared in the State Courts, High Court and Court of Appeal for a broad range of criminal and civil applications, trials and appeals. He has also been involved in international arbitrations under various regimes such as the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), as well as in international arbitration-related litigation in the Singapore International Commercial Court (SICC).
