Jocelyn R. Cuttino advises clients on labor and employment matters including statutory compliance, antidiscrimination practices, employment policies, HR procedures, and best practices for avoiding litigation and developing positive employee relations. Jocelyn conducts internal investigations into allegations of harassment and discrimination, advises on responses and remediation measures in connection with alleged misconduct, and defends companies in employment litigation and other workplace crises.
Jocelyn is also a member of the firm’s workplace culture consulting team, and she regularly conducts workplace culture assessments and advises clients on creating safe, respectful, diverse, and inclusive workplaces. She also works with employers to design and implement comprehensive diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.
Jocelyn handles claims arising under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, the Railway Labor Act, and related state employment laws. She represents employers in disputes involving claims of wrongful termination, discrimination, failure to accommodate, and in wage and hour litigation. In addition, she conducts employee training on the prevention of unlawful harassment and discrimination in the workplace. Previously, Jocelyn was an associate at a large international law firm, handling employment-related claims, complex commercial litigation, and business and financial litigation.
