CENTURY CITY, October 7, 2021: Morgan Lewis partner Seth Gerber has been recognized by the Daily Journal as a Top Trade Secrets Lawyer in California for 2021.
This is the second consecutive year that Seth, a leader in the firm’s Intellectual Property Trade Secrets Working Group, has received the recognition. Seth is one of 25 lawyers included on the annual list, which features lawyers in California who have handled high-stakes cases in the last year.
Seth focuses his trial practice on high-stakes trade secrets and non-compete litigation, which has seen an increase in activity over the last year in the wake of aggressive hiring and competition for top talent. Along with claims for misappropriation of trade secrets, he represents companies and individuals in various other intellectual property and business litigation, including breach of contract, intentional interference, and breach of fiduciary duty.
Seth also has experience in cross-border litigation involving the theft of trade secrets and property overseas, which also has been an area of increased attention following the Defend Trade Secrets Act of 2016. Morgan Lewis advises US, Chinese, and multinational clients on how to navigate this act and other global ramifications of complex and sometimes contradictory regulations through our US-China Trading Policy & Global Impact working group.
