Lexology Index Names Sara Aranjo a 2026 Thought Leader for Arbitration

The Lexology Index: Thought Leaders Arbitration report highlights the insight, expertise, and experience of some of the world’s foremost arbitrators, counsel, and expert witnesses. Featured individuals are selected based on nominations from peers, corporate counsel, and other market sources and are recognized for their experience advising on significant and cutting-edge disputes.
Sara leads Morgan Lewis’s international arbitration, dispute resolution, and global investigations practice across the Middle East and Africa. She focuses on international arbitration and dispute prevention and resolution, primarily in matters with cross-border elements. Sara advises and represents governments, semi-governments, and corporations in proceedings involving inbound and outbound investments across the Middle East and Africa, including in the energy, real estate, hospitality, construction, banking and finance, distribution, and technology, media, and telecommunications sectors.
She is a member of the International Criminal Court’s International Court of Arbitration, the Court of Arbitration of the Swiss Centre, and the Arbitration Court of the Saudi Centre for Commercial Arbitration. She also serves as deputy secretary-general of the International Bar Association (IBA), co-chair of the IBA Arab Regional Forum, and co-chair of the in-house counsel group of the IBA Arbitration Committee.
