Morgan Lewis Lawyers Recognized as Client Service All-Stars for 16th Consecutive Year in BTI Consulting 2017 Report

PHILADELPHIA, February 7, 2017: For the second year in a row, five Morgan Lewis lawyers have been singled out for client service excellence by corporate counsel in BTI Consulting’s 2017 Client Service All-Star Report. This year, Morgan Lewis is one of 16 firms with five or more All-Stars.

Firm Chair Jami McKeon (Litigation), partners Anne Marie Estevez (Labor & Employment), Howard Kenny (Securities & Corporate Governance), Edwin Smith (Bankruptcy & Restructuring), and senior counsel Jay Calvert (Commercial Litigation) have been designated by corporate counsel throughout the United States as client service leaders. This is the second time BTI has honored Ms. Estevez, who was previously named a Client Service All-Star in 2014.

The BTI Consulting Group, which conducts independent research on how clients acquire and evaluate their professional services, gives the All-Star designation annually to about 300 lawyers who corporate counsel recognize as client service leaders. This recognition is based on six principal attributes defined by BTI, including superior client service; exceptional understanding of the client’s business; legal skills; delivering efficient, value-added service; innovative thought leader; and outstanding results. In 2017, only 319 lawyers from 160 law firms were granted this exclusive recognition. 

The BTI Consulting Group has consistently identified Morgan Lewis and its lawyers as providers of standout client service in its publications. In 2016, Morgan Lewis was among the 25 leading law firms most recommended by corporate counsel for more than five years in a row, according to BTI’s Most Recommended Law Firms report. BTI’s 2016 State of Alternative Fee Arrangements named Morgan Lewis as a top law firm in developing and delivering alternative fee arrangements. The firm was also recognized by corporate counsel for the fifth consecutive year in BTI’s 2016 Brand Elite report.
