HOUSTON, March 7, 2017: Morgan Lewis has been recognized for the second consecutive year by the Houston Bar Foundation with its award for Outstanding Contribution to the Houston Volunteer Lawyers (HVL) by a Mid-Size Firm. Morgan Lewis was presented with the award at the Houston Bar Foundation’s 35th Anniversary luncheon event on February 21.
The award recognizes the firm for its contributions to the HVL, which provides pro bono legal services to low-income residents, and to organizations such as the Tahirih Justice Center, KIND, and Catholic Charities.
The Houston Bar Foundation is the charitable arm of the Houston Bar Association that enables the organization to fund crucial programs that provide legal services and support the administration of justice for all Harris County, Texas citizens.
