Morgan Lewis Lawyers to Speak at Northeastern University Impact Investing Event

BOSTON, March 28, 2017: On Wednesday, March 29, Morgan Lewis partner Carl Valenstein and associate Tasmin Din will discuss impact investing at an event hosted by Northeastern University.

At this information session for law faculty and students, speakers will share their insights on legal careers and issues relating to impact investing and how law schools can help develop practice ready lawyers in this growing field, as well as impact investing activities currently underway at Northeastern University’s D’Amore McKim School of Business (DMSB). They will also engage in a discussion about how the School of Law, working closely with DMSB and local industry partners, can play a pivotal role in advancing knowledge, research and student engagement in impact investing.

Other speakers include Navjeet Bal, Vice President and General Counsel at Social Finance, Dr. Sara Minard, Executive Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation of Northeastern’s D’Amore Mckin School of Business, and Kevin Saunders, General Counsel at Accion.
