Morgan Lewis Partners Neeraj Arora and Mark L. Opitz Named ‘Emerging Leaders’ by The M&A Advisor

LOS ANGELES and PITTSBURGH, June 29, 2018: The M&A Advisor has recognized Morgan Lewis partners Neeraj Arora and Mark L. Opitz as Emerging Leaders for their success in advising clients in financing, M&A, and turnaround matters and other notable contributions that they have made to the industries and communities in which they practice and live.

Mr. Arora represents sponsors and financial institutions in a broad array of project development and finance transactions, with a particular focus on project development and/or financing of a range of large energy infrastructure assets, including conventional (gas and coal) and renewable (energy storage, solar, wind, biomass, and geothermal) power generation projects, transmission lines, and pipelines. In addition to his private practice, Mr. Arora has an active pro bono practice, assisting undocumented and abused children brought to the United States to obtain legal permanent resident status through the special immigrant juvenile status program.

Mr. Opitz represents private equity firms, public companies, venture capital funds, entrepreneurs, and emerging companies in sophisticated transactions ranging in value from several million dollars to more than $1 billion. He regularly advises entrepreneurs and emerging companies at all stages—including formation, financing, growth, and exit—and dispenses practical and creative solutions. Mr. Opitz has also been heavily involved in pro bono activities, including assisting nonprofit educational and learning institutions.
