WASHINGTON, DC, July 2, 2018: Morgan Lewis represented Mirae Asset Global Investments Co., Ltd. in its acquisition of Global X Management Company LLC.
Seoul, South Korea-based Mirae Asset Global Investments comprises the asset management arm of Mirae Asset Financial Group, one of Asia’s largest independent financial companies with global investment banking and brokerage, life insurance, and investment management assets. Global X, headquartered in New York, is a sponsor of thematic, income, and international exchange-traded funds.
The transaction, which closed today, was led by partner Tony Chan. Associates Matthew Dulac and Khaled Mowad and partners Laura Flores and Charles Bogle provided support.
