Morgan Lewis partners Suet-Fern Lee and Wai Ming Yap have been named to Asia Business Law Journal’s 2018 “A-List,” which recognizes the top 100 lawyers in Singapore. The list is based on extensive research with in-house counsel in Singapore and around the world on their experiences with private-practice lawyers at Singapore-based and international law firms.
Ms. Lee advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital markets, and corporate finance. She has led some of the largest corporate transactions in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region. Her work also includes counseling companies and boards. Ms. Lee has served on the board of directors of publicly listed companies in the region and is a director of the World Justice Project, which promotes the rule of law globally.
Mr. Yap counsels corporate clients on merger and acquisition transactions, project finance, and equity and debt capital markets, as well as gaming and leisure. His experience spans more than 30 years of managing sophisticated corporate transactions in the Asean region, particularly in Singapore and Malaysia. He also acts as a sponsor to issuers on Catalist, the sponsor-supervised board of the Singapore Exchange (SGX). Mr. Yap serves on the boards of several health sector charities in Singapore.
