Morgan Lewis partner Tinos Diamantatos was interviewed by Bloomberg Law for an article about a recent US Department of Justice memo that provides new guidance regarding the assessment of “inability to pay” claims. “The concept isn’t new, but the mode in which they’ve now communicated it is more transparent and is looking for more consistency and predictability from the Department,” said Tinos. “It lays out in black and white what the department expects of all its prosecutors.”
