Barr et al. “It is a relatively important case from the perspective of the interpretation of the Wire Act and whether the Wire Act prohibits all interstate gaming as opposed to whether the Wire Act just prohibits interstate sports gaming,” said David. “That could create an important precedent for the gaming industry generally. For companies that have gaming apps or casinos that have online gaming, that is an important case to watch.”
