PRINCETON, June 5, 2020: Morgan Lewis associate Emily DeSmedt has been recognized among New Jersey Law Journal’s (NJLJ) New Leaders of the Bar as part of its 2020 Professional Excellence Awards. The annual list recognizes lawyers younger than 40 who bring both notable achievements and outstanding potential to the table.
Emily advises clients in a wide variety of employment-related matters, including the defense of wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, and retaliation claims. She represents employers in single-plaintiff, multi-plaintiff, and complex collective and class action litigation before state and federal courts, and also handles internal investigations.
Emily is set to be honored by the NJLJ at a ceremony in September.
