HOUSTON AND WASHINGTON, DC, March 1, 2021: Morgan Lewis partners Susan Feigin Harris and Paul Zevnik have been recognized as Healthcare/Life Sciences and Insurance Trailblazers, respectively, by The National Law Journal in its 2021 supplement honoring agents of change across legal fields.
Susan was chosen as a Healthcare/Life Sciences Trailblazer for her work to secure funding for children’s hospitals. In her practice, she concentrates on the regulatory, business, corporate, governance, compliance, and contracting needs of a diverse group of healthcare clients. She regularly addresses federal and state healthcare regulations and works with state and federal healthcare agencies involving Medicare and Medicaid licensing, certification, reimbursement, compliance, enforcement, and recoupment actions.
Paul was selected as an Insurance Trailblazer for his work spearheading cost-effective integration of comprehensive insurance recovery with the global defense of product, toxic tort, and environmental liabilities. Paul represents clients in product and mass and toxic tort exposure cases involving medical devices, pharmaceuticals, industrial equipment, building materials, consumer products, commodities, oil and gas, ships, aircraft, and machinery. In the insurance area, he handles cases related to general liability, excess, umbrella, property, casualty, errors and omissions, directors and officers, fidelity, media liability, business interruption, employment practices liability, pollution legal liability, fiduciary, mortgage insurance, captive, “bumbershoot,” difference-in-conditions, and manuscript policies.
