Partner Alana Genderson spoke with HR Magazine about the US Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA’s) and state efforts to guide employers dealing with record heat across the United States.
Under the general-duty clause of the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Act, “OSHA is ramping up their enforcement on heat,” said Alana. “Employers have a duty to protect workers against heat.”
