The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is expected to run out of funding by April 2024 without action from US Congress, but sources fear such action is unlikely to happen this year, as covered by Light Reading in a recent article.
In discussing how service providers should start preparing despite the ongoing ACP negotiations, partner Tamar Finn advises to “[not] leave the details to the last minute. Monitor how the funding is going down. When we’re coming up close to the end of funding and you need to get those notices out, make sure you have things prepared."
