Partner Charles Sweet spoke with Asset-Backed Alert about the US Security and Exchange Commission’s conflict-of-interest rules, which took effect in January. During the discussion, Charles noted that Morgan Lewis has created a compliance task force to provide guidance to clients.
“Everybody who is involved in securitization will have to figure out what it means for their particular organization,” Charles said. “But I’m encouraging people when I talk to them not to wait until the very last minute.”
