India and Singapore Sign Memorandums of Understanding

The MoUs aim to encourage greater business collaboration and exchange between the two countries.

On October 4, Singapore signed three memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with India following talks between the two countries as part of the ongoing state visit by the Prime Minister of Singapore to India.

The MoUs that were entered into are as follows:

  1. MoU between India’s National Skill Development Corporation and the Institute for Technical Education, Singapore (ITE), on collaboration in vocational and technical education and training.
  2. MoU between ITE and State of Assam, with a view to establishing a skill development center in the State of Assam.
  3. MoU between the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore and the Indian Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion with respect to collaboration in the area of intellectual property.
