M. Abigail West
M. Abigail West focuses her practice on complex business litigation, class action defense, and internal investigations. Abigail also defends companies and individuals in securities and shareholder derivative actions. She has experience in all phases of litigation, including fact investigation, discovery, motions practice, trial, and appeals.
Abigail is a member of the firm’s Pro Bono Committee and maintains an active pro bono practice, with a particular interest in international human rights matters. She also serves as an adjunct professor at UC Law SF (formerly UC Hastings), where she teaches legal research and writing.
Abigail received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where she was a Global Law Scholar, senior editor of the Georgetown Journal of International Law, and student advocate in the International Women’s Human Rights Clinic.
