Ashley J. Hale defends employers in labor and employment law matters before federal and state courts, and administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Typically, the claims asserted in these matters allege discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, violations of public policy, and violations of whistleblower rights. In addition, Ashley works on litigation involving accessibility and accommodation claims under Title II and Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and state accessibility laws.

Ashley also assists in the defense of class and collective actions brought under federal and state wage and hour laws. Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, she was senior counsel in the Labor and Employment Law Division of the New York City Law Department, where she represented the City of New York in a broad range of labor and employment law matters before federal and state courts.
