Anand B. Purohit litigates complex commercial disputes, including False Claims Act (FCA) and breach of contract actions, as well as antitrust matters. His practice spans a wide range of industries, from healthcare to technology. Anand also has a robust pro bono practice, which includes representing victims of domestic violence.
Before becoming a lawyer, Anand worked as a research assistant, investigating ways to bolster the economic resilience of Nicaraguan farmers. He also served as a global fellow in Indonesia, developing hydropower systems for rural communities. Anand graduated from University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where he worked on the Asian American Law Journal and the Berkeley Business Law Journal while also contributing to articles about the psychology of American juries.
