Andrew Devkar’s practice focuses on intellectual property matters, with an emphasis on patent litigation. Andrew litigates complex patent infringement cases in district courts throughout the US, before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and before the International Trade Commission. He has represented clients in a wide range of industries, including software and Internet technologies, wireless and networking technologies, digital camera design and operation, mobile phones, semiconductors, printer technologies, image sensors, LEDs, and a broad range of other consumer electronics and software.

Andrew has been repeatedly recognized as a “Super Lawyer” and “Rising Star” for intellectual property litigation by Super Lawyers magazine. Andrew’s experience also includes general IP counseling and monetization, patent prosecution and licensing, and trade secret matters.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Andrew was a partner at another leading global firm. He also has experience counseling for and working in start-up companies, including for capitalization, intellectual property protection and enforcement, branding, and other business strategy.
Andrew’s practice also includes pro bono work, including for the Alliance for Children’s Rights, where he has worked to protect the rights of impoverished and abused children.
