Anthony Birong

Anthony Birong focuses his litigation practice on defending employers and businesses in high-stakes trade secret, restrictive covenant, and unfair competition disputes arising from employee departures and competitive hiring. He represents clients in matters involving alleged trade secret misappropriation; noncompetition, nonsolicitation, confidentiality, and nondisclosure obligations; employee raiding; breach of fiduciary duty; and tortious interference. Anthony has experience defending clients against requests for emergency injunctive relief, including temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions, as well as managing expedited and complex discovery, briefing dispositive and sanctions motions, and preparing matters for trial. He also defends employers in single-plaintiff harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination matters in state and federal courts and arbitration.
