Amy J. Talarico works with clients facing product liability lawsuits, toxic tort matters, and national asbestos actions. She serves as coordinating counsel and trial counsel for equipment manufacturers, cosmetic manufacturers, product suppliers, product distributors, construction/general contractors and subcontractors, and premises owners, among others. Amy’s jury trial experience extends to product liability, mass tort, and complex insurance coverage litigation. In addition to her product liability and mass tort defense practice, Amy represents corporate policyholders in insurance coverage disputes against domestic insurers and the London market insurers.
Amy has also helped develop Morgan Lewis’s asbestos defense practice, which represents more than 30 clients, including matters relating to asbestos-contaminated talc. Amy handles national asbestos dockets with a holistic approach, while concentrating her practice on often fast-paced California litigation actions. Using her background in insurance, Amy and the asbestos defense team work in collaboration with the firm’s insurance recovery practice.
In her pro bono practice, Amy oversees a team that provides legal services to individuals in a clinical environment. That team works with people who have criminal histories, helping them overcome issues with housing, employment, education, and civic engagement. Furthermore, Amy volunteers her time working for the Rural Justice Naturalization and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) renewal clinics.
Amy served as an associate for a boutique insurance recovery law firm in San Francisco before joining Morgan Lewis.
