Caitlin Dey Harrison counsels both strategic and financial buyers and sellers, including private equity funds and their portfolio companies, in the structuring and negotiation of US and cross-border complex transactions including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, carveouts, divestitures, and private equity investments, among other corporate transactions. Caitlin has experience dealing with a broad range of industries, including the financial services, logistics, technology, media, and banking sectors.
- Represented A.P. Moeller-Maersk in the $1.7 billion acquisition of Pilot Freight Services, a global provider of end-to-end and last-mile solutions specializing in big and bulky B2C and B2B freight, from ATL Partners and British Columbia Investment Management Corporation
- Represented The New York Times Company in its $550 million acquisition of The Athletic, a global digital subscription-based sports media business that provides national and local coverage of more than 200 clubs and teams in the United States and around the world
- Represented Far Peak Acquisition Corporation, a special-purpose acquisition company, in its merger with Bullish, a technology company that develops financial services for the digital assets sector, whereby Bullish will become a public company
- Represented New State Capital Partners in its acquisition of AVEX, a provider of sales and maintenance for the Daher TBM turboprop aircraft in North America
