Christina A. Cotter

Christina Cotter advises senior leadership and human resources clients on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including internal investigations, employee terminations, disability accommodations, discrimination allegations, collective bargaining obligations, and personnel policies. She oversees employment litigation in federal court and administrative forums and previously represented the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in labor and employment disputes through all stages, from discovery and motion practice to settlement and trial. Christina is admitted in California and Illinois, and her practice is supervised by DC Bar members.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Christina held several significant roles at the SEC, including attorney advisor, senior trial counsel, and, most recently, assistant general counsel for labor, employment, and litigation. Prior to her time at the SEC, Christina represented the US Department of Homeland Security in dozens of complex labor and employment matters.
